I actually think it's the opposite. When I "read" the raws, I have no clue what they're talking about, so I use google translate and most of the times, guessing what the conversation is. Sometimes, based on the panels, you have a pretty good idea of what is going on. However, I never really know what's going on. That just causes me to want to see the translated version even more. It builds the anticipation for me.

I remember when i was a child i had a nanny who is from asia and dude she was firm with the rules between me and my siblings. Sure it's so different from the western culture but damn we learned things we thought only when we grew up is the best time to learn. She wasn't that strict but she showed us who are/is the authority around the house like mom and dad. The discipline we got and we grew up with was a big help into who we are right now.
