DAFUQ DID YOU EXPECT, YOU IRREDEEMABLE DOUCH??????? You gave those disgusting fuckers the go-ahead to do whatever they wanted to him as long as he "didn't die." YOU did this!!!!
I've seen some spoilers, and honestly, I don't care if Jiwook gang-raped Juyeon in the past. You expect me to believe that it was worse than THIS?!?!?! THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL. And Jiwook's torture is going to get even worse!
Juyeon is going way too far, to the point that it isn't "justified" anymore (which it's debatable whether it was ever justified at all, given the morally reprehensible nature of rape as a whole, even if done as "revenge" or "Karma").
Why are the best art styles always wasted on the worst stories?????? It's such a damn shame.
As a Degenerate BL reader, yeah, there are some moments where you can sort of ignore the horrible circumstances of a sex scene in order to appreciate the actual sexy parts. But this author seems to LOVE going way too far, making the characters too miserable and traumatized to ignore. They're not having a good time, and neither am I.
Every time I see this comic update, if fills me with dread. It's one thing to enjoy psychological horror/thriller manga--I'm a fan of those genres. But this just feels TOO REAL. Uncomfortably real. Like it's glorifying rape and torture.
The only reason I'm hanging on is the hopes that this comic adaptation is a little different, and Juyeon gets SOME amount of repercussions; if only in the form of severe personal regrets. Like in the Sadistic Beauty BL side story. But I'm not hopeful.
Fellas, is it weird that I'm still on Mok-yeon's side here....?
(Yeah, the rape fantasy is fucked, but he didn't do it irl. And I'd say most people have intrusive thoughts/fantasies about hurting someone they dislike and stuff. I think that's basically what was happening there; except, it was moreso a fantasy about "lashing out" instead of actually "hurting" Nanjo.)
I've seen enough evidence to conclude that Mok-yeon doesn't ACTUALLY want to harm Nanjo. His sexual preferences in the past have been rough, and he 1000% coerced Nanjo into this physical relationship, yes. But he never really desired to physically HURT him.
I honestly feel really terrible for Mok-yeon. Sure, he's been a cheater in the past, and that's shitty. BUT NANJO NEVER KNEW THAT ABOUT HIM. Nanjo just saw a promiscuous dude with tattoos and a BDSM preference, and assumed he was absolute scum [abusing a twink] from the very beginning, without even knowing him.
Mok-yeon was helpless from the very start; he felt he had no choice but act according to the stereotypical villain role in order to get anywhere---have ANY relationship in ANY capacity with Nanjo. And I get it. Nanjo already decided what kind of person Mok-yeon was. If he'd tried to approach him sincerely, he would've ABSOLUTELY been turned down, and that would've been even more painful.
Mok-yeon may have dug this hole, but he had no choice but to dig it.
....and now this poor guy is having a full-on mental breakdown.
I really hope his character isn't pushed into Irredeemable-territory.

This "redemption arc" is completely UN-EARNED!!!!!!! I HATE IT!!!!!!!!
