to me it seems hino-sensei thought of her as a boy at the beggining but changed her mind in the middle of the story and fixed some stuff to make ren a girl, but now we know she is a girl for sure, though she uses short hair and "masculine" clothing
in japanese language, use neutral pronouns. instead of he or she. authors use often the neutral pronouns. I'm sure the mangaka used the neutral pronoun until now.
i said that cuz i went back to read ren's earlier appearances and the drawing changed compared to recent chapters where she looks more feminine...or that's how i perceived it
Soooo the true ending is that he came back to Yule? Just why? I mean we see him meet with Yule in the lat chapter and they just greet each other. How come they ended up living together in the epiloque? I can see that Yule regrets what he did, he tries to terat Kyung-soo well so maybe in the future he will forgive him and even if not he still just wants to stay by his side. But I don't understand Kyung-soo he had no reason to move in to his rapists and his biggest life mistakes house. I wonder if he actually still loves him as much as he hates him. Or its a stockholm syndrome. Don't kno but I can cleraly say that Kyung-soo hates him the most and Yule loves him and wants make everyrhing up for him. I think its ridiculous I mean he turned his life into living hell. Maybe Kyung-soo thinks its his punishment, because he siad before that he can't be happy, so he stays with the person he will never be happy with? So messed up and such and unclear ending.
In my understanding of the story, Kyung soo still loves Yule, even tho Yule had done so many fucked up things to him.
Kyung Soo can't let Yule go even tho he hates him so much. That's why he moved in with Yule in the epilogue.
I personally think that this is not a Stockholm syndrome story, but a story that revolves around messed up obsession.
Just like Yule was so obsessed with Kyung Soo, Kyung Soo was also obsessed with Yule.

In 'what-if: Dong Hyuk', Kyung Soo kept seeing Yule when he had sex with Dong Hyuk and that he ended up feeling bad to Dong Hyuk and kept saying sorry to him in the end.
Which makes me think that Kyung Soo kinda makes Dong Hyuk as a substitute for Yule (from the very start of the story, when he confessed to Dong Hyuk)

Just now while reading an idea came to me. Let's analise. Edward is the prince that's in the light, everyone knows him. While Dean who is the first prince was kept in the dark, most likely to protect him from the disgusting queen and her schems. I think the Queen Dowager wanted her to feel secure about the queens son to become the king. Well the nobles decided for themselves but still the prince who is present most likely will take the throne. From what we saw untill all the fucking is reather dumb person who is interested only in social life. I realised one thing. BITCH YUURI is doing everything to actually destroy Edward. She makes him spent country money and to make ridiculous decisions. Now the common folk didn't realised that yet, but with time they will turn they back on him when the countrys economy will fall. In my opinion BITCH TUURIS target is not being Edwards wife and becoming the queen and live happily with him. I think her she want to destroy Edward for one simple reason. She wants the first prince to appear. If Edward dissapear from the stage, the first prince will have to return to the country. And then she plans to switch places and stand by first prince side. Obviously she will play dumb and find some way to please people. I think that bitch actually can manipulate ones mind. If she can use that ability then she can easily become the queen of the country and stabilize her postion as the person with highest authority. In short. She actually wants the first prince, so to make him appear she wants destroy Edward so Dean will have to take the throne, she wants yo deceive him, manipulate him and become the queen. And probably she wants to manipulate first prince so he will be her doll and she will do everything she wants. Or she is accomplice with other country to destroy the royal family.
