i honestly hated the red haired guy up until now. I skipped every chapter centered around him and the uncle and i dont even know his name. I saw him as an annoying brat with no common sense, but this chapter completely changed my perspective of him. Maybe i'll have to go back and reread all those skipped chapters lol

I definitely will! I sort of jumped the gun with this guy, and since this story is pretty long ive started skimming parts i wasnt interested in. To be honest I kind of just assumed there would be minimal development with these two and that the redhair guy would just stay immature, but the author has proved me wrong lol!

I understand your point, after all in many comics there's no real development. I was hoping redhead and uncle wouldn't just start dating without going through some self knowledge journey, but I was kinda preparing myself to just seeing them back together. I can't even say how glad I am seeing red's growth. I feel emotional haha. This is becoming a great story about adulthood and relationship.

Usually these types of stories have some sort of lasting impact on me. Killing Stalking literally stayed in my mind for days. The plot of KS was executed extremely well and had such an airtight and neat plot that there weren’t many unanswered questions or plotholes at all. In my opinion, Obey Me was sort of the opposite. Sure, they’re similar in genre, but Obey Me’s story was kind of all over the place and the ending was unsatisfying. There were some weird choices made by the author, the most glaring one to me being Hayan’s...existence? Like, she had literally nothing to do with any other character and it was never explained why she was there in the first place. The whole sushi bar scene seemed kind of out of place to me, too. I also personally dislike the use of any form of amnesia in stories, but this time around it wasn’t that bad. I’m not saying this is a bad story (it definitely isn’t, and I’ve read MUCH worse) but there’s just so much to be desired. This could have been a great story.

I know every experience is different, but I like how accurately the author portrayed the MCs spirals into depression, their slow recovery, and the occasional slip-ups from time to time. The lashing out and the secrecy, the feeling of everything being so far away...it was depicted really well. It’s been a while since I shed tears for a manhwa. The scene near the end where Junwoo takes his own hand and leads himself to the light hit hard. I’m really glad I read this.

Same, I really hoped for a happy end... fortunetely they managed to overcome things(⌒▽⌒)

This will forever remain one of my favorites! I think this is around my tenth re-read. The art is outstanding and the story is creative and well-built. The pacing is wonderful, and not to mention the sex scenes, albeit a little short (though their length is fitting to the type of story) are passionate as hell. This is what you would call a one of a kind story; you’ll never read another one like this. I only wish there were more chapters to read!
So he...slept...with his mother?
No. He slept with his uncle's wife. No blood relation.
Oh ok i completely misread that part, tysm
You're welcome.
Nah I think his uncle sent him to an orphanage and he got adopted into an unrelated family that didn't really want him.
Oh, no. It was cleared that they don’t want to send them to the orphanage so they adopted him. So they’re right—he did sleep with his uncle’s wife. Basically his “stepmother” because they adopted him to their family I guess.
