One thing about the art style is how aware author is when she is writing an intercultural relationship. their skin tone for example, as a korean person j.j is significantly darker than leo, which is so nice to see after seeing paper white koreans nonstop in manhwas. Also author making j.j bigger than leo when asians are often stereotypically shown as short and small is such a cheff kiss decision. Really love how you can tell there was so much thought put into it with fully knowing that an korean person did make this. Nerd project also gives the same feeling as this, it just feels good to read something so detailed and accurate.
People acting like jian is not the only interesting character in the story got me giggling.
Mieum is the most cliche weak bottom who needs his top daddy uwu baby twink, jitae is like "i will protect you bunny but you follow my orders for safety" meanwhile jin is only giving "i am obsessed with you because you smiled at me once"
I wouldve dropped this story if it wasnt for jian.
Jian is giving the typical sob story pseudo antagonist who can’t stop focusing on how pitiful he is. He isn’t „interesting“ at all - he’s just as plain as everyone is in this story. He does have an amount of baggage but let’s not forget him and jitae have literally the same upbringing- PLUS Jian HELPED to built the toxic environment around jitae. But only one ended up being ugh so pitiful, substance abusing and “I’m so sad and pitiful oh no let’s have gangbangs and drug myself with unknown shit everyday”
People are clearly picking faves while acting like it’s a general opinion - I’m not saying that the first couple is more interesting, but they are just as interesting as the second.

I think this kid went through something traumatic as a kid and this is why he is so naive and slow. I hope rather than only fucking him, the top can teach him how to live as a normal human being.
I dont think jian loves jin. Not yet. Not in the way jin wants it to be. I think jian both loved and cared for jitae and jin the same way as his little brothers in a messy household. Jin was clearly jealous of jian's attention for jitae though. I think jian will soon realize that the sex he wanted from jin is not gonna turn out as nonchalant as he likes, he will develop feelings.
Jian just needs ONE person to truly take care of him with no motivations, i dont know if jin's obsession can be that for him for now. This is why 2nd couple is so GOOOOOOD.

In my opinion Jin's plan (Jitae destroy Jian, so that Jin can pick him up) is not needed. He can make Jian love him if he stays with him and helps him get out of this hell with the drugs and the Baek family issues.
But at the same time you can see that Jin was alone and the only love he got was from Jian so that made him obssessive with Jian. They both need to learn.
2nd couple is so GOOD that i wish the whole series was about them only
A realistic japanese yaoi where we see them grow up, their adult struggles, realistic and beautiful portrayal of families and actually them getting married. This is such a good refreshing story to read.
Art is fine, characters and designs are good. Story and idea is really interesting but goddamn the actual storytelling in this is kinda messy. I feel like author is a bit amateur w the way they make storyboards between plot and smut, the flow is a bit off. Hope they improve cuz story is storying
