I just really am not sure what the expectation was here.
A scammer jumps in to scam what’s basically a sketch family. Gets into a sexual relationship as meatsack talisman to save his skin. Sees they are getting too close despite telling himself the whole time it’s for show/he’ll dip as soon as he finds an opening and he’s always been fully aware there’s a fiancée. Tells dude who he is getting Love Stick from that he doesn’t want others to get the Big L vibes from them so he needs to back off. Dude proceeds to go back to treating him like an object (in a very obvious Making A Point Out of Confused Angsty Man Pain way) and he’s like whoa why are you acting like this??
Tell me if I’m missing the link because while I’m not saying it’s cool, I see where every domino fell.
First, he never said "Backoff" he just said "Hey, people might get the wrong idea, and you have a fiancee so I dont think this is right", very different message to just "Back off".
Also, not sn excuse to act like an asshole. Like I get that top is mad because actually like bottom, but he has no right getting mad. He has a fiancee for fucks sake, and he says bottom he can not let anyone touch him, but he has a fiancee? Wtf.
He is getting mad bottom was to make distance between them, but he has shown no indication to actually want a relationship with bottom, again, he jas a fiancee. Yeah, it is arranged, but it is still a fiancee.
Anyway, I actually like both characters, it just annoys me a little that he is acting like the one being rejected when he is about to get married and keeps calling bottom "My talisman" like he is just an object for him.

I was simplifying. His words/actions indicated the intention was for ML to back off with his orbiting of the MC as they were becoming like lovers, not contractor and employer, which they entered as.
We can’t really shift all the blame to the ML because neither has addressed the shift that is clearly happening and they both seem to desire.
ML clearly shows no regard for fiancée, who is a puppet and MC KNOWS fiancée isn’t a real relationship, so to act like ML has some real lover he’s forcing the MC to put up with while MC can’t be touched is not a thing. While nothing the context MC IS HIS EMPLOYEE. MC was a scammer who AGREED to this situation. Under duress? Maybe. We could chalk it up to the consequences of his actions.
Regardless, he agreed to basically be his sexual partner talisman so you can’t say ML barring third party sexual relations regardless of who ML sleeps with would be unfair (that’s not even the case here, I’m just making the point of their contractual obligations.)
As for the ML being an ass, I already said it doesn’t make it okay, I said I see how every action led to this point. Dominos. I’m sure the author will show MLs consequences for his actions in THIS chapter in the following chapters.
I also love these characters and can see how the author has built their arc to be something complex (the art is also stunning) so I understand your frustration.
I dont agree that ML "has shown no interest in the fiancee" we have not seen him interact that much with her. For all MC knows he may actually like her, he doesn't know, we don't know. So expecting MC to understands that ML does not care about her is not realistic to me.
The contract they have NEVER said anything about ML having a say on who MC desides to sleep with or not. He just agreed to be his talisma, nothing else, never said anything about being his exclusive property or something.
Anyways, agree to disagree. ML is larguely at fault here. MC also has some fault 100%, but ML is acting like MC is to blame for his actions, which is asshole behavior to me.
I don’t know which is worse or what I would prefer. If he was just a POS at least they’d have come to terms with that due to how long it had been and everything that’s happened. But with this sort of tragic backstory, momma gets no closure (dead) dad gets no closure (robbed of his entire youth and love of his life/childs entire growing period he’s fucking in his 30s) and his kid barely gets closure because again he’s nearing middle age.
Like, this almost feels like MORE of a burden having to meet your dad who is going to die in a few years (old as hell clearly) and overcome your years deep aversion to the version of him in your head to try and get to know him for that little time (if kid wants) while knowing that your mom will never know any of this.
What a wildly uncomfortable and unfortunate situation for everyone involved. Hence, the run of the mill dad leaving for milk almost seems easier.
It does. But at the same time you know the dad didn't leave for milk and actually cared about you when he learned you existed. Even if the dad is about to die, he at least knows that the dad wasn't an ass and was just in a battle to remember his mom and know about him

There’s this question posed, I forget from where I heard it, but basically it’s like “was it better to have been loved and lost than to have never been loved at all” since at least to have never been loved you don’t know what you’re missing. Whereas to have lost you then know what you’re missing from then onward. That’s the sort of question I’m posing here.
This gave me heart palpitations. This was masterfully executed and- without the intention to draw comparisons or knock another work since I know how it may sound- lived up to the expectations I believe the community held for Jujitsu Kaisen.
You can practically feel the love this author has for this world and every character. From start to finish it’s like we bled, cried and grew with them. Even when adapted to animation the emotion carried. Remarkable.
They terminated the marriage as a means of removing MLs divinity from MC and forcing his own divinity out when he manifested in the cave. They remarried as soon as they went home. Did yall really think he would fall in love and have whole ass kids with this man just to divorce him forever when someone else asked him to??

Everyone discussing pros and cons of split Henry but Victor kind of sucks ass too. Like damn I really do believe Henry’s cheating ass should have stayed dead or once split Victor deserves to be stuck with head and all his torment. Heart hasn’t done shit to deserve being sidelined and treated like a servant while watching douchenozzle be idolized or even DICK get more affection.
Victor is really callous to their situations considering he caused it and despite being some sort of scientist/doctor hasn’t thought to consider their state of being beyond “you have this part of his and it serves me this way.” Like these are whole ass new humans. Victor has a terrible personality.
Deadest of ass, I agree. Victor’s personally is insufferable. Not to justify cheating (because it’s abhorrent; no two ways about it), but I can see why Henry kept doing what he did. Victor didn’t hold him accountable, instead choosing to suffocate Henry with superficial love to earn his favour. Even after Henry is (technically) six feet under, instead of favouring the part of Henry that genuinely loves him unconditionally, he keeps chasing after Head for the sole purpose that he looks like Henry. This tells me that Victor only ‘loved’ Henry for his looks, rather anything else about him. In retrospect, he essentially knew nothing about him and frankly didn’t care, so long as he didn’t leave. All three Frankenstein need to have a nasty orgy then ditch Victor’s ass.
