Crazy to reread and hate it when I liked it the first read. ML fucking bloooows. Why the fuck is MC damn near on his knees apologizing EVERY TIME (and FIRST at that) when it’s ML doing terrible shit? Classic tale of a doormat and a boot.
Okay, there were a lot of things I let slide because this is clearly a more silly plot with stupid characters and whatnot. But what has really thrown me off it and made me not enjoy Eungyo (ML) and Seyoon (MC friend and lawyer) is the scene after ML confesses to MC and they agree to cohabitate and raise baby together.
ML has lawyer come to him to revise the consent form and basically make it a slave contract for MC to ensure he stops running away when he panics. In doing so, he has him say that if MC runs away or does something ML doesn’t like, misses more than three of MLs calls, goes out overnight, etc. he can never see the baby again and will be exiled from his home/country, ML gets all his assets, so on so forth.
AND THE LAWYER/ “FRIEND” AGREES TO IT. He’s like, “hell yeah you can be the legal guardian of this low IQ baby adult I have basically been put in charge of and supposedly care about, I respect you dude for thinking so far ahead!”
What fucking weirdos. None of these people have his best interest in mind and it feels so gross. Like this is homeboys LEGAL COUNSEL signing him into a slave contract when he is so smitten with ML he would clearly do anything to stay with him regardless, he went this far to have his baby (which is its own set of weird but was consensual so there’s at least that which is more than I can say for what these assholes are doing.)
Anyway, that’s my rant. May not seem like a big deal, just felt unnecessary and pissed me off because the MC is clearly portrayed as childlike and helpless.

Anyone that’s lost a pet can relate I’m sure, but though they weren’t dogs I’ve lost some buns in recent years and I had similar thoughts/reactions when they passed. I kept thinking “please know I love you, please know I’m sorry, if you stay I’ll do better, I wish I could have done better, you were so precious to me and I hope you know that, I don’t know what I’m supposed to do if you go.”
So I really cried reading this part in the novel and again seeing it here. It’s so difficult having something you put so much love into and accepted so much love from go when you aren’t ready. I don’t really even think it gets better, you just get better at living with the loss.
I need to know who the author is fucking, because no one else in the game is selling sexual tension or just plain SEX like Kyo Woo.

Dude clearly either goes by a nickname or his name is spelled with a unique character, so when others try to replicate it it’s a tell.
Checked in just long enough to confirm that too much time was taken on the rape scenes but damn were the plot components rushed.
