I'm replying to most of the newer readers here, and since you're up for spoilers, I'm assuming you haven't read the latest chapters yet.
To summarise, he betrayed her. He married her, then exposed that her father had been embezzling funds because her father indirectly killed ML's family. And then he just left her waiting for him, before finally sending her divorce papers.
I'm so angry rn I can't write much more, but that's the most important part. FL is okay-ish though, so at least that's that.
Every fight in this manhwa makes my toes curl I swear.

I love this epilogue chapters! I love how they try to communicate and understand each other. Though ml is a little dense with what the fl wants hahaha
I read from some site that the dead twin brother was really the monk and the ML just pretended to be dead and live as the monk brother because he did not want to marry the princess and that he was really in love with the fl.
