The Vanessa moment in the novel was epic tho. Much more, oh shit what the fuck is going on kinda moment.
Spoiler
Upon activation of the magic circle, she started levitating and she almost passed out from the violence of mana siphoning into her. Veins turning black and blood poured out from her nose and ears. Once given the signal, her eyes opened and glowed a furious red and magic circles upon magic circles came out one after another. So much so that both allies and enemies could only stare in incredulity. It was, after all, a 7th circle spell. It enveloped the fortress with a shimmering red barrier stopping the enemy from even approaching the fortress. Then walls of fire erupted at the enemy's rear making it so that retreat was impossible. The enemy could do absolutely nothing. It was a devastating defeat. It was epic.

Waste upon waste of chapter of non moving plot. A lot could have been left out but I feel like the manhwa team didn't know how to cherry pick from the novel and only include relevant scenes to help move the story along. I really don't need anymore of MC's introspections.

Disclaimer: Not saying it's not good y'all. I'm just saying.... we're at chapter 80 and haven't even really seen much of the plot of MC being ---------------- not gonna say coz spoilers. Plus where pink haired at? The actual villains are vacationing. Irritates me to see red head dude suddenly tho lol

Lotsa rape in this one. Expected from this type of anthology. Something is really wrong with Korean BL manhwa artists. Defend it all you want but I suppose it goes hand in hand. Disturbing how it's legitimately entertaining for some readers. Was skimming to see if I could read but it's a hard pass for me.

I genuinely think it’s cultural aspect but no one wants address it because firstly it’s an illegal website housing smut and secondly without fully knowing the cultural context of why this continues to be the dominate portrayal of queer imagery for a conservative country that continues to condemn and ostracize queer people yet exploits them for their entertainment you’d be labeled racist/xenophobic.

It is indeed cultural. The social climate in SK demands men and in this case, queers---to participate in these acts enough that it has been normalized throughout Seoul. Seoul is such a small capital city-- and it isn't even the same case for the Kors from the other provinces.
Female (and male) authors write literature like this because this is their impression/generalization of queers and men in the country---it is exclusively their observation of how men act around them. Depraved literature can only be born from a depraved culture.
I shout, "BAD PEOPLE!"
I swear. These stories love them bad orphanages.
