Haven't read this yet but judging from the comments, prince is still true to what we've seen from the original story but in the perspective of Aira. I wish author didn't force his supposed 'I'm a good guy' story. It's so stupid and everybody is just so damn forgiving of the guy. Didn't even really get a bad punishment for derailing the lives of two people who had nothing to do with their Kingdom. Even his excuse falls dead flat and no matter how you word it, he just sounds like a self-entitled brat.
There is a side chapter in the light novel v9 that shows Kyle's POV after he matured a bit and reflects on his past actions. He regrets them and acknowledges them as juvenile and irresponsible. Took him long enough...
Like many others under the trope, it seems like cuteness trumps all. I'm giving a bit of a leeway and adding stuff in-between the lines as the adoption stems from other circumstances. Although I do agree everything came so easily and so fast, I'm a little more forgiving as the context is surprisingly dark. The whole mother's death, miscarriage, and burial of a parent all in one chapter was a slap and a punch in the gut. I'm not surprised that they want to take care of her being that she's so young.
For other things, I'll let it slide coz everything is enjoyable so far.
