During S1 doyak had a horrible habit in correcting Joian's opinions all the time regarding tj. But was nowhere be found during S2 where tjian opinions were just completely delusional and false narrative for Jo. Then (still during S1) would most of the time reply to rude joian's in a bad way but completely ignoring the kind one's but never replied to rude tjian users and answered the kinder tjian only. So she basically enforced the mockery of JoIan's.

Near end of S2 she sounded like a hypocrite. She has said in an interview I believe, that anyone is allowed to interpret her work as that's what her work is meant to do. But back in S1 she didn't allow Joian interpretation at all but now she's saying it's what her work it meant to do? Tf?

Also you may think tiktok is bad wait until you see the wetsand tag on twitter. It's so much worse. Tiktok is just a bunch of teens going googly eyes but twitter is a bunch of adults calling themselves psychiatrist.

It’s honestly unsettling how ugly fandoms can get the moment they start obsessively liking something. Stan culture doesn’t just make people protective it turns them downright hostile toward anyone who sees it differently. Like Wetsand by Doyak, for example. It’s a love triangle, and most fans aggressively favor TJ and Ian to the point where they lash out at anyone who prefers Jo and Ian instead. What’s worse is that even though the author herself said people can interpret the story however they want, she kinda ends up being hypocritical. I wonder why she did that?

I would have never guessed the author was like that. I honestly thought she favored Jo and Ian more than TJ. I don’t usually engage with the BL community because of how toxic it can get, so what you said honestly doesn’t surprise me that much. I like Wetsand’s story a lot, so I decided to check Twitter last night and that’s what really prompted my original comment. I was genuinely shocked by how aggressive and dismissive it all was.

Funny enough, Mangago has actually been the most peaceful place I’ve seen. People still debate there, but it rarely turns into the excessive aggression ( sometimes it does) you see elsewhere. Most users here seem to have their heads screwed on a little tighter than others. The BL community can be incredibly toxic over things like this but honestly, stan culture itself is toxic, period. Normally, I just read manwhas and go about my day. I might share my opinion here and there, but going out of my way to belittle everyone who disagrees? ( I honestly used to be a little crazy, but then I had to take a step back and tell myself that it wasn’t that deep and that’s also a reason why I don’t really engage in the bl community anymore)

I think the best bet is to search the joian hashtag on twitter and then view the profiles that show up in the tag, joian rt alot so you'll be able find more of them that way? It's hard because them (beautiful) fuckers rarely use the damn tags I believe most stop using the wetsand hashtag already. Do be careful there is one loser ass stan in the joian tag that ragebaits. It's so sad joians can't have shit.
