I think it’s cause ur criticism of this manga, while valid, can be applied to jinx as well. So people think it’s hypocritical to diss a manga for having these themes like non-con and manipulation etc when they are very present in jinx too and the main theme there.

I think it’s just cause in more re ent chapters he’s dealing with his feelings and his father is still a big problem(he always becomes far more withdrawn as soon as that man is near) however I think I understand what you mean. He doesn’t exactly take the lead at least in recent chapters but I do think he’ll become more dominant once his father is out of the picture and he becomes comfortable with Aaron.
