to the young ones here, I think this manga is inspired from the gay movie 'Maurice' since the characters are suspiciously having the same name as the lead actors in that movie (Maurice and Simon). Check it out if you want, it's also based on the victorian-esque era where people wear those kinds of clothes.

Maurice was originally in love with another guy and they hit it off pretty nice, until the other guy decided it's time to marry a girl and leave Maurice and his gay days. That broke Maurice, then there's some dream like things happening while Maurice is recovering from grief that he doesn't remember, turns out he wasn't dreaming and he was actually having sexy times with his gardener Simon every night while he was having his 'dreams' ... They confessed and lived happily ever after.
That's the gist I can tell you.
this manga made me UGLY CRY AT 1AM!!
the story is so pure and really depicts real life struggles of gay couples. the ending had me pulling out tissues! I can't with this kind of realistic portrayal.
the end was definitely a sad but happy ending to a story. I wish all gay couples end up like them. my heart is aching!

I hope this manga gains traction and then just like Mo Dao Zu Shi, hope this gets picked up and turned into a live action series.
Oh please I want 4 hot chinese dudes to play this series.
but then I think MDZS got picked up due to its explosive popularity as a novel, as well as having a great plot that the production could expound on without the BL content.
As it is, this manga has potential to become really explosive with the plotline of Jian Yi's past history disappearing a few years due to possible gangster issues and Zhang Zheng Xi having to wait for him after a few years. Buuuut.... since Xiao Mo and He Tian's sudden explosive chemistry, the author is focusing more on that (and she's probably having a hard time getting back to the original plotline since her style is drawing a few panels per episode, and the Jian Yi gangster plotline would probably need a proper >10 panels to tell the story).
Anyway, guuuys! if you know how to speak Chinese and is in weibo or whatevs, please share updates if this manga gets a series or somethin... I want my 4 boys in the fleeesh ヾ(☆▽☆)
I've been a yaoi manga reader for more than 10 years. Great dark pieces like "A cruel God reigns" or "Sakura Gari" were a thing of the past, there are some great contenders too right now but most of the mangas/doujinshi/manhua/manhwa I've been reading lately are fluffy, erotic, or try to be dark but just doesn't evoke true despair on readers -but this manga right here.... Like what the fuck.... This korean manga evokes emotions. Y'all making me feel sad and anxious over these characters' lives and in which direction will they lead on to.
The drawing is great; lines are clean, emotions are drawn & portrayed well. Sex scenes are drawn well too. Their characters also have great drives where we readers can understand why they're acting the way they do.
I just hope this story doesn't end in tragedy.

I am so happy that I already lost interest in this series when I found out how the author was plagiarizing so many fashion magazines and other stuff for this manga.
I was curious as to why there seems to be a new series, and finding out how the author did her fans dirty by creating that crap ending... I am just relieved I lost interest in this manga a long time ago. Whew! Saved me from heartache!
What happened? I'm curious
