Okay so i started reading this as a novel but put it on pause because I couldnt wait for the updates. Imagine my delight and surprise to stumble across this years later! Yay!! Only I am a bit disappointed with how this went.
First off my fave characters would have to be ML and Mu. 3rd would be ml's brother and sadly he only had like 2 or 3 chapters showtime (although they used his name a lot lol). FL, she started off as a strong one for me, but idk when, i just kind of lost interest in her. Even ml with mu interactions were just too cute and fatherly so I had hoped we would see something along the lines of people mistaking them for a family of 3 or them doing more shennanigans as a family of 3. But sadly, nope.
I liked that it did center around the crime and I guess I wish it was longer and showed some sort of romance between fl and ml. I wanted more fluff, i wouldve loved R or NSFW content but even pg-13 wouldve been acceptable. I wish i had actually taken to fl more but just didn't.
I felt bad for Adrian once i learned his backstory. I actually kind of liked him a bit and wished to hear what Lenia got punished with since she was okay with sacrifices. I'm happy it came to attention that she knowingly supplied Eleonora. There could have even been more screen time of her and stuff or even mc back in Korea but, again, 74 chapters and the ending still feels incomplete-ish and or rushed. Or even something on the not but psychologically manpiualted triangle of madness (Eleonora, Adrian, Lenia).
I mean they wasted 6 panels to give us a ficticioius story by 'M' (i think she works in the ministry of magic)...so 6 more chapters of some fluff or something wouldve been wanted. At one point, I found myself just wanting to rush through the chapters since it didn't tickle the spot i needed it to..it's like i had a good meal (this would be a belly full type of meal rather than truly delicious) and now my big back wants something sweet and all you toss me is a damn apple or tell me to sip some water...aka it just lacked something for me.
Learning of the citizens reaction or even the Leonards family learning that their son is pretty much the best hubby to fl and father to Mu wouldve been welcomed too.
Also when I first started this years ago, I really thought this would go into a different direction, but again, as my earlier meassages said, it just fell flat. Even talking about the dragons more or something...plus i'm not sure if they even said in this (maybe they did in the novel) that the dragon imprints on the soul and not the body because then that leads to even more plot holes.
Overall, it was decent and a quick read. It had likable characters and plot holes and left me wanting more but on to other stories. I just really liked the idea and potential this story had.
Ok so I'm starting ch 13, and I like this so far but fl is annoying me a bit. Like why does she think, its almost stupidity or arrogance in my opinion, that the characters are exactly as she played. Like some observance would be useful. Also why in God name is she sharing such vital info such as the spirits with everyone and their granny!?!? Like your own brother doesnt like you and og fl seems weird around you plus og fl was the original one to get the powers so why risk taking her along...
Like sometimes I'm really liking fl and other times I want to pinch her...also 9gfl seemed like bitch because she just wants to blame 9fg fl for everythi8ng even when it was ogfl fault

And omfg, yes! So fucking dumb, like why even tell people?? Its not like she wants/plans to take OGfl and her brother on the island, so why tell them?? I feel like OGfl is gonna do some fuckery and try to steal the spirit imo
To be fair to FL, she has played 200 different times, thats probably like hundreds or thousands of hours where shes been around the characters, she even played as the sister so she'd reasonably think she knows everything about her personality and the setting, so she thinks she knows who she can trust. Hopefully they wont drag out her unwavering belief in her sister bc that would be frustrating but I get why shes a bit defenseless.. realistically the only person she doesnt know is ironically Nathan.
Ogfl wasn't the one to get the powers this is only a section of fl's story, as you can see she doesn't know where exactly are the spirits or how to obtain them because it wasn't in the og story she has only info from her own story that she read before entering it.
I really want to say that many many many moons ago I really think i started reading this as a novel and eventually paused it and never went back.....anyways is that white hair going to be a bitch or friend and will she try to get with ml?
Novel already finished. Decent with the usual length bs. Novel is also different compared to the comics. Comic wise it was listed as finished. Not sure if it meant season finished or permanently done with. :/

True. It should be known that she was conceived through rape. I wouldn't have blamed her if she was a good person but she's just like her mom and people should know her background.
I don’t think they will reveal it. It’s a huge stigma and will ruin the image of the corporate if it’s revealed that the Chairman was raped. It was already bad enough that Han Seori is an illegitimate child, but to say she was a product of rape, yea it’s not going to end well for the chairman. The revolution of a bastard is already cause them to lose some stocks, it will get worse if word got out the chairman was raped. South Korea, a conservative country, currently shows an unfair treatment to victims of rape. Women in South Korean are already treated badly if they reveal they were SA, more than half the time they to blame for it. Most people don’t believe a man can be raped, especially by a woman. They believe only women can be raped not men. There would be more cases of women speaking out of SA, but not men.
That’s why the grandfather had done everything in his power to get rid of Han Seori and her mother. He knew what would happen to the company of anyone knew the truth. Also he would rather his son marry an heiress, even if it’s an arranged marriage, than marry a commoner, who also SA his son.
In the og storyline, the dad never revealed to his family that he was raped and Han Seori was the product of that. That’s why his marriage failed. But in this time he was able to come clean to his family about what happened. To him it’s his shameful past, even if he’s the victim. He already felt ashamed at what happened and having to tell his family that shameful past. But if the public found out, I doubt he would forgive himself, cause not only would affect his company, but also his kids. Everyone in high society will avoid, this will affect future marriages, relationships and careers. Having an illegitimate child, while scandalous, is kinda normal when it comes to the rich, but the chairman being raped, bye bye social status.

The brother goes away to recover from his illness, Han Seori is put in jail, and the ml and fl return back to their world. As their leaving the world around them starts to fade. They wake up in their og bodies.
The Ml, who was the original the director for the production of the flower of ordeal, see’s that manuscript for the flower of ordeal has changed. U see before he was transmigrated into the novel, he was going over the script and he hated, even told the author. They was upset and cancelled their subscription to life. In the new manuscript, it changed to what the fl and ml had gone through during their time in the flower of ordeal. With the author leaving a note at the end (I can’t remember what they said).
Fl was an actress who had died while she was on her way to the audition for the role of Cha Yeryeon. Once she woke up in the real world, she went to the set and that’s where she re-met the Ml.
There is apparently a side story where it’s an alternative ending to what happened to the flower of ordeal world after the fl and ml left. Instead of the world fading into nothing, the world just continues on like nothing had happened. The real Cha Yeryeon wakes up but has no recollection of the past 2 yrs. This kinda like what happened in kill the villainess, after the fl left the world continued on. The only difference is, the og character comes back.
