So friends arent entitled to know everything about you. They also arent entitled to stick their nose in your business. It's nice and awesome to care and help especially if your friend doesnt expect, want, your help but need it. It was an arranged marriage not everyone falls in love. Most of the time it’s political and not to mention he’s the cause of her death in their first life. What’s wrong with being independent and wanting to be free and not attached to a man? If he loved her he would put his feelings aside and not keep pushing her into a corner.
Also she’s been searching for freedom for all her lives and with this death she will be free. Meanwhile the ML has pinning after a woman he killed trying to get her back. Like FL might not even know him or they might have met once or twice, it’s weird. But this is what we expect when reading a fantasy romance.
She literally likes him, she’s just traumatized by the betrayal she faced in the past. Of course she is pushing him away because hasn’t healed from her trauma. I think the situation is unfair to the both of them and it’s not like he is forcing his feelings on her. He’s just trying his hardest to win her over while respecting her boundaries. If she said that the deal is off, he’d respect that. When she drew the line in their relationship, he didn’t pry any further, he felt disappointed but respected he couldn’t ask more about the baby. I think it’s unfair you’re saying he’s pushing her into a corner.
I don’t care if it’s unfair it’s my opinion. Nothing you’re gonna say is gonna change my mind. He sees she uncomfortable yet still tries other ways knowing the high possibility of the outcome: more uncomfortableness and her building up more walls. Until she ready to open up I feel like he should play it cool. Build trust with her. But whatever, I’m not gonna respond anymore.

Like with the recent chapter of their date, he knows she's tired and he just lets her sleep. Happy to be with her and in her presence. Anyone would have been so annoyed. He might have planned the date, but he's letting her do whatever she wants with their time together. Maybe it's guilt for the date not going as planned because he did make the deal of spending the whole day together in exchange for 5min of intimacy.
But my delulu says he specifically chose that place because he knows she would be tired and wanted to rest/nap after dragging her around town.
