Well its Mel's choice to keep her lover Lynn safe and all, but in Lynn's perspective it's different. Lynn knows she's doing it for her, but because shes the one who keeps asking for things like, asking Mel to operate her so she can sign the contract for it, that's how Mel got in trouble by Sue when she operated Lynn when she wasn't suppose to, so Lynn thinks its all her fault because of it-thinking that will damage Mel's career- which Lynn doesn't want. So I think in the next chapter (Ch.54) I predict that she might do something regarding her self and Mel's job to "make things better." AND might effect their relationship. Just my prediction. Might be accurate but whatever.
