However, dojin didnt say that hes in love with the ml, it’s the ml who is in love with him. Dojin tells juyeon that ‘he will try.’ He stays with him bc he knows juyeon is the only person in the world who is willing to stay with him through thick and thin, who will not abandon him no matter what. Juyeon took care of him when no one else does, hes a devoted man through and through (it’s a kind of love that is hard to come by, a person who is willing to stay and take care of you when you are at your worst state, bro literally had anterograde amnesia). Also Juyeon is as precious to dojin as his ex so for him, it seems that it is entirely not impossible for him to return juyeon’s affection, maybe not now but perhaps in the near future. Thats why the ending feels hopeful, atleast for me
