i cried for pandora but… i truly sobbed for chris. as much as this story feels… unfinished, i’m just laying in bed processing all that happened to this poor man. the mental abuse he went through with his father, being raped by his best friend's wife while he was INTOXICATED, and pursuing the love of his life never knowing if he was truly loved by her (even though she i like to think she did love him in her own vengeful way)… to then being left as a widow with a child who resembles so much as his late wife. he has flaws and committed many mistakes when it came to caring for pandora but it’s just so tragic to both parties. it felt like after one wave crashed into this man another one that was two times it size would just crash into this man again. so seeing him sob his heart out at the news of his daughter deciding to leave his side, chasing her out the front door, offering her any money she might need and realizing his time has been cut off short once again with someone dear to him… it truly hurts to witness it. and to just die of liver cancer without his daughter by his bedside just felt utterly cruel but set the reality of things. not everything ends happily, and sometimes, just like chris and pandora, we have to live with regret, the guilt and remorse of our choices.

context: i know it was given but in these seven days, soryeong and her team haven’t slept for seven days, and have been subjected to pissing and shitting themselves, have only been eating gruel, no showers, no change of clothes, so basically horrible horrible conditions (and this was written more in depth in the novel) anywhos at this point if anyone is caught sleeping their whole team AUTOMATICALLY gets kicked out so that’s why bro is panicking about her sleeping and she warns her teammate not to look at ml bc she knows he has been keeping a weird amount of focus on her bc of her notes bc i think in the novel instead of finding the notes, she’s like falling asleep during his lecture which pisses him off, got close to her to scold her but saw the notes and then got pissed off and reprimanded her off in front of the whole class like i kind of hate theyre glossing over this bc yeah it’s really long… but there’s A LOT of moments where bro gets hella jealous from other men in the program bc they’re eyeing fl or he’s getting jealous over his secret identity and his curved dick and i really hate to think that they’re going to butcher the hell out of the next training arc after this one
