they didn’t really put any effort into casel and leah romance at the end here like girl you keep saying ‘I can’t love him’ or ‘I shouldn’t feel this way’ WHY?! THERE IS NO REASON YOU CANT BE WITH HIM!! Like she held back on account of this idea that she couldn’t possibly be with him but she has literally no reason to feel that way other than just being insecure. It’d be different if she thought there was too much of a gap in status or if she thought it he was interested in another girl, etc. but she had basically nothing to base her assumption off of. I think the author just needed SOMETHING to keep them apart and cause conflict but didn’t have enough time and/or energy to think of anything specific.
