does the emperor think that he can protect her if he announces her as the princess??? it’s pretty obvious that that only puts her in MORE danger. Like if he wants her safe then he would let her continue as the duke’s daughter.
Okay, she obviously didn’t do the right thing. She should’ve tried to save her son. But…I think it’s important to recognize that she WAS a victim and her trauma heavily influenced her actions. She should’ve done better by him, but it’s obvious her actions weren’t done maliciously and she genuinely regrets them. Soooo personally I’m hoping that they can re-connect. Still, he has every right to decide to stay in contact with her or cut her off; I just hope whatever choice he makes is the one that brings him the most closure.
On a side note, loving the moral complexity of this story-line. It’s very realistic. I do think some of these comments are a bit too black and white, like one extreme or the other, but what can you do?
okay so now that we’re starting to wrap up the dragon warrior/crimson dragon storyline, I’m really interested in seeing how they finally finish up the hak/soowon/yona plot line as well as yona becoming emperor and how that’ll work out. So excited for the chapters to come!!!!

This chapter really made me realize how much I love their dynamic. It really feels like they both help each other and it’s not one-sided at all. The older guy is so understanding and always knows what to say, and the younger guy helps him break out of his shell and break away from what’s ‘normal’. They’re both so good for each other. I can’t wait to see how this story plays out!!
How old is everyone on here? I’ve been on here since I was like 13 and I’m 21 now. Sometimes I read comments and threads on here and I can’t tell if there’s a lot of dumb people on here or if everyone is just really young. Or maybe it’s a mix of both?

I’ve been really getting into these types of stories but the lead is always a female character, so I was wondering what it’d be like to read a similar story but with a male lead. I want to exclude shonen ai because I’ve already read a few like that and I’m looking for something different.
