I'm just having this intense love-hate relationship with the prince. on one hand its like he's changed/changing. he's trying and he cares for tia. he's not that asshole we would all like to stab to oblivion. BUT ON THE OTHER HAND there's the side where it's like same face, same guy. he could always revert. when he first met tia in this timeline he was cold too and honestly came off standoffish. it felt gross and i automatically lined it back up with his previous self and grabbed my pitchfork and was ready to mull someone. So it's like a constant battle between loving the change and progress in character development vs just being hung up on the past. I think that if there was some acknowledgement or closure of tia and the prince's past in this timeline on the prince's part i would be able to let go. But without that closure its just so hard to move on fully and not hold a grudge
sidenote- this useless attendant. when he was acting like a royal bastard he was silent and did nothing. when he is feeling down he gives him some word of encouragement which suits the prince. i've been thinking this for awhile but i really hate that blond haired attendant and would love to deck him. in recent chapters he clearly acknowledges what the prince was like in the past meaning he KNEW what was wrong but did nothing. as an attnendant i get that there's a limited amount of influence you can do but you did grow up with the prince and should be like a childhood friend. shouldn't you be trying to make your friend a better person rather than indulging him? useless and disgusting. I want to stake him
and i heard a disturbing spoiler....jiuen still ends up married to the prince??!?! like wth happened??? I thought he's sincere this time around? i get the political scene is messy but it thought he was all for tia and only tia this time around. Somone drown that bitch

I know she confessed but is that all? even with manipulation she had a choice. she is someone who has lived for thousands of years already. but she chose to indirectly harm people who have been nothing but hospitable to her. i mean she caused the death of the people he held close to his heart. children, old, women -none were spared and she knew it would happen. Is she just let off the hook and allowed to roam the city without any restrictions? The trust is already broken. Yet she sits in on meetings as part of the hero's entourage. Isn't that a little unfair and unjust?
