....look i get you people who defend mia who eventually backs off but lets talk about how ungrateful she is. lena is the first person who is kind to her and spoke up for her when the emperor decides to throw her into the interrogation room. mia knows that the emperor is lena's husband. despite all this, she goes for the husband of the girl who was kind and helped her. regardless of future events on whether or not she eventually backs down (cause the raws i read haven't gotten to that point yet so I'm slightly skeptical) she is being an ungrateful wannabe home wrecker and asshole of the season along with trashta. in the dressing room when they chose dresses she gives lena this glare and negative energy. yes, she shows remorse after while crying under a tree. but as soon as she hears about the opportunity to be empress....did the little skank hoe not take action and ask the emperor to dance in front of lena who helped her when no one believed her?!?! All i am saying is that it shows a lot about her character as a human being. So even if she eventually backs off there will always be that little bit in me who is gonna call her the UNGRATEFUL SELFISH HOMEWRECKING HOE (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

I don't have any spoilers really. But the 1st & 2nd are more backstory, so you could skim through that. Chapters 3 to idk will most likely be focused on the transmutated queen & the cursed king developing a relationship while getting rid of corrupt officials. Also the queen shows a more warrior side of herself (so less love sick her like in 1st chapter).

i didn't think this would get a manga adaptation of its own!! or maybe it was there already but bottom line is I'm so excited!!!! It's been a while since i read the novel since I wanted to binge read it so I waited for updates but from my memory they will go through several arcs/adventures and meet new friends while killing off her never-ending death flags that keep popping up.

low-key hoping she ends up with claude instead. the communication with orpheus is a mess. all those misunderstandings and rumours piled up. he should've managed the servants and rumours better so it didn't ruin their relationship and she should've just communicated with him right from the get go instead of acting based on assumptions and this self sacrificing love. fools. everyone including the malicious servants, the butler who knew but ignored it, the cousin who stayed despite knowing the chaos she brings, and the stupid couple themselves. when you read the novel you feel even more frustrated

The fl is a conniving manipulative bitch and the ml is high off drugs and a complete manhore. ml seems to be led around the nose by the fl while the fl is leading the ml on while taking responsibility as role of his wife. honestly a toxic couple. is there even a chance of a happy ending between these two shitshows?

Reagan’s a mess through majority of the novel but the turning point was when he got involved in a scandal with his 2nd wife, and Inga’s miscarriage. I don’t remember whether these two events are connected or not, but it happened during the same time frame. Inga’s family finds out about this and wants her to go back and divorce Reagan, but the both of them don’t want to. Reagan then proceeds to go into rehab and eventually gets better, and Inga accompanies his through the entire process.
See, but do I want the angst and drama of that recovery process for such unlovable characters
