I did not know that the shoujo and fujoshi girls overlapped this much. Hello comrades!!
Josei please! Not looking for any illegal/ grooming stuff, since it is not my cup of tea (especially not teacher-student), but I'd like one where the older one's perspective is shown more? Or where the younger appreciates the gap in maturity...
Still near the beginning, but suddenly I'm in the mood for age gaps.
I was letting it cook for a while now I have no idea where to start. Last time I was here, I remember seeing the monologue by the priest and then there were accusers entering the mansion saying that Shiuri was having illicit relations with Jeremy. Any idea where I should start off again?
What did he even do except be cute and supportive? He played straight ball and backed off when he wasn't wanted. I like him much more than Lucas honestly.
I read this story till 4 in the morning, but I'm disappointed. Where is the conflict? Where is the struggle? It's like some 1D Shonen focused on aura farming. Where is his health getting wrecked because of his schedule? Why is everyone movie a blockbuster? Why does every big wig/ legend in the industry love him? I can understand saying that he was the most talented actor, but adding in that everyone loved him in a wonderful, neat way cheapened the story. How is all struggle limited to the first life? Why not at least give him strong emotional struggles?
The artist did a great job, and it is thanks to them that I felt like I was watching an actual movie in person. But the story is weak.
Please promise me that the FL doesn't end up with the child she adopted. Please, please, please
Sorry, but Seohan getting first place didn't click with me. He's kind and helpful, but I'm not seeing enough of their work on stage or for stage, as compared to something like Debut or Die. Does anyone know a similar debuting manhwa where the characters really struggle or we can see the work they put in?
I'm speaking after the end of Season 1
The one created (?) By Gege Akutami. Talks about immigration, xenophobia, cancer girl, alien twins, etc.
But not Passion toxic, I want Kiss Me Liar or Low Tide Over Twilight toxic, ya get me?
Please please please help. I need
1..Asian Historical stories (more politics heavy) and
2. Stories where the fmc is neglected at home and goes out and heals herself
Every yaoi rec here gets responses (which I'm very grateful for!) BUT SHOJOSEI AND SEINEN FANS, PLEASE STEP UP, HELP A SISTER OUTTTT
Please give me good Korean Historical shojosei recs Honestly, I'll even just take Eastern/ Asian Historical stories.
What I've liked so far-
1. Born As The Daughter of a Lowly Concubine
2. The Red Sleeve
Somehow, The Apothecary Diaries didn't suit my tastes as much. Any recs?
I really want to read a story where the female MC is neglected at home. I do mean severely neglected, ignored, etc. Not abuse as such, but yeah. I'd especially love it if the kid moves out and is trying to work through that trauma and the manga/mamhwa treats it genuinely.
I remember reading House of the Sun and loving it.
The romance isn't that important to me...
I have waited a hundred years, when are you coming back my dear?
I always wonder why the colour of the gem of the ring is highlighted. What is the artist trying to convey? Is there extra lore there?
