This had its ups and downs but We got to see the characters grow and evolve and it pulled me in so much i read the whole thing in one go ,10/10 for this. I got so mad at her family at some point but it was kinda relatable and realistic since it showed how people really are IRL. i would like to see a sequel for Haewoon and pink hair manager and that other girl that almost got set up with crazy dog. But pinkie is gonna win that one ....i think <3 ヾ(☆▽☆)
Just when i thought I'd be stuck with craptastic yaoi mangas, this gem comes along and reminds me of why i love this genre...a nice yaoi manga that you can always come back to (づ￣ ³￣)づ 10/10....cant wait for the next chapter when he goes to pick up his clothes or smthn

I thought so too, until I realized how much Ianna "missed" Arhad... He was pretty much the only person who could stand toe-to-toe with her as a rival. As someone who's so deadset on getting stronger, Ianna probably wouldn't be too coolheaded about that, right? ╮(￣▽￣)╭

it would be interesting to see one of these stories end up with a ML who isn't so obvious...I'd like to see her end up with the emperor instead of Austin(wtf that name?) It would be interesting to see a woman who would be a partner to the emperor instead of looking for a love interest, aim to be dowager. Instead of the usual back and forth, ML is a serious guy masquerading as a playboy, MC will be the one to reform him...ups and downs and happily ever after....do something different.

That is weird. I have read the novel in japanese and in my version Yuri's mother was a foreign spy who instead of "doing her job" has fallen in love with a noble man. She was indeed kicked of the castle and lived in poverty until she died from illness. Yuri, before her mother's death, asked the former "spy" network to give them medicine in exchange of her services but it came too late. Yuri stated that at that time she didn't felt particularly sad for her mother's death, she just felt pity for her. Eventually she joined the spies because she was "too cute" to rot in poverty the rest of her life. She was never in the side of the first prince, she wanted ever the second prince to be on the throne and easily manipulated by her and the other country or the country to be invaded and being given a better noble title. Because her mother downfall had been to fall in love, she swore to herself that she will never make the same mistake. And she managed it because even if Edward (the second prince) died to protect her she still wasn't sad for him never heartbroken. Has for the plot twist of Dean being the first prince, even in the novel we learn it right after the party when Iris was invited by the queen.

Yes. The evil plan was discovered and both the second prince and Yuri were considered as traitors. He died in a fight but Yuri was captured and sentenced to death. Her last wish was actually talking with Iris one last time. Of course, it was't exactly to make friend.

Well considering that it is a whole different world they could just make up their own brand new culture. I dont think they have to adhere to the culture and customs unless they specifically say a real life country. Or at least that's what I think.
