Yeah, in the novel, there's a whole introduction arc in the beginning(50+ chapters worth) where MC was the first one to approach and comfort the crying child(MC believes he was the youngest player in there right now, 14 i believe?? so he felt really bad for him). Jaeyoung basically imprinted on the MC and stuck on him. That whole arc explained MC's relationship to the rest of the player characters that are in his kingdom right now. Glasses dude, monkey guy, shark dude and jaeyoung. There's one more character but he got deleted in the manwha :/
