Yeah, but then he just.... did nothing. The only thing he really did was try to discourage the mc to get with the ML but we already had the beta friend for that... He was also kinda used to bring out the ML's jealousy but he was so non threatening plus there were other characters like the ex that could've been used instead lol.
I wouldn't have said anything if he just showed up once or twice but he showed up quite often and there was no conclusion to his character imo

I'm pretty sure he liked Seoyu without knowing he was an Omega and when he found did find out, he became bitter, but stopped after realising he still liked him despite it. But yeah, his part in the story felt very unnecessary and like they were trying to force a minor one-sided Omega/Omega plot
Like I don't mind a dark story but I'd rather they portray it as such then treating it like some weird slapstick comedy with rape themes
