Re-read the 1st chap make me amazed for this manhwa even more. The author truly plan everything about the story. Its not an ongoing story that build the plot by the time its released to catch the deadline. The author truly has the main plot fixed, therefore the events happened in this manhwa are all have meanings. The first chapter raise the topic about 'coincidence' that turns into fate. There are 5 phases;
1st: Coincidence
2nd: Forms a bond
3rd: Make it fate
4th: Inevitability
5th: .......
So far the story shows 3 timelines of Ryeong & Paljae meet. When they both was injured and recuperate in hiding, when Ryeong betrayed by that asshole sister & brother and got his father killed then taken by a master (Paljae didn't directly engage with Ryeong but there's implication that he did watch over Ryeong. It can be he was restricted by circumstances), and when Ryeong cultivated Paljae thus they began their journey (Let me know if I missing a timeline or two).
As Ryeong's & Paljae's birth story are not yet known ( I believe they both didn't come from ordinary origin), and the story of how Paljae become one of the 4 rulers and Ryeong ascended into a powerful being but terminated by the accusation of killing his master, there must be some timeline of their meeting that is not yet to tell. This going to be a long series of seasons. I would love to follow, despite I'm getting burn by this slow burn.

But its not Paljae isn't it? Paljae has curly hair. That black haired person is Ryeong when they disguised themselves to avoid those mad brother. But alright, the cover need to be changed to avoid misunderstanding. I'm glad this beautiful story has gain attention, but a pity it also gains unnecessary misunderstanding.
I've been long skipping this in my reading list. Thinking it is another toxic BL where seme is this successful man come from lower background and the uke is innocent naive prince who will fall under seme's manipulation. Oh how wrong I was!

I put this on hold until that bitch meet her tragedy. How is it she can go around and ruin everyone life just because she was hurt? She take advantage of ML and ruin MC's already fucked life just for entertainment. Seriously, I feel so disgusted in every of her appearance.
