Yes and most of the stuff that went wrong wasn’t even his fault. His superiors run horrible, ineffective, dangerous operations. He literally followed protocol with all the resources at his disposal (so basically nothing), but got randomly ambushed with a syringe. Even if he had dodged, that only would have made people suspicious of a person who invited themself into a drug party but is so desperate not to take any drugs. It would have been like he flashed a badge right there.
Clearly there’s no support for agents because now he has to hide what happened for fear of getting fired even though it was forced on him. He’s acting a bit irrationally, but it’s more because he’s desperate to avoid any future danger by getting his job done ASAP. He’s not being as cautious as he should, but that’s a common issue with rookies, and a very good reason to not to deploy them into such dangerous situations.
Throughout Dohyeok's sidestories, the rating remained the same. As soon as the main couple's sidestory started, the rating dropped (after years!). I'm cackling lmao.
