Finally someone who gets it. Geez the comments before you don't get a single thing. He doesn't know how being properly cared for IS like, so he thinks that he's treating him kindly after doing all the WACKY shit. Like wouldn't you be confused if the people who came to kill you patched up your wounds when they don't even use you or NEED you? Like people don't get the story so far. I would do the same thing he would and say it. I would die anyway so what's the point in not saying it for the person who at least gave me a warm blanket and some IV.

Oh dear I hope for an happy ending too and ya I sort agree with u yes he had never been treated well but that’s how the story should go plus I’m not like asking him to drop his pride I just need him to stop this shitty attitude I mean look at him sometimes he wish for basti’s death then again as we just saw he giving him the some conclusions that idk if it’s true or false?!

I guess that just shows how messed up he has become. He hates Basti because of all the things he has done and also because of his beliefs about him before getting kidnapped. But now the people he considered his family abandoned him at the drop of a hat, and he has nowhere to go even if he managed to escape somehow. That's why he is giving Basti the information, since that's his mindset, being useful to anyone is the only way to survive. I'm no psychology major but I can see where he is coming from, and why he is developing Stockholm syndrome.

Exactly, he's just doing what he can to survive and we can see Stockholm developing. I just feel people don't seem to understand the story and/or start to read it when they want "fluffy romance" like seriously, if you want literally all green flags, read smth else. I'm here for the story plot, I wanna see where it goes cause it's really good for me personally.

There is many ways to write a traumatic story and well written characters, but this was not it. I swear you guys make the most basic and predictable shit the most popular and eat it up. You don’t have to torture and make the character get assaulted by random ass characters to make it a traumatic story. If a story is repetitive, that simply means it’s not well written.

I meant just the psychological aspect. Also, if this was less graphic and not "BL" as in Boy's Love as in Romance. There is no romance here. A story showing SA doesn't automatically mean it should have a lower rating, at least if it's handled properly.

Stories can contain heavy topics and be well written (and received) if the delivery is, well, actually good. It's been a while since I've last read this but I think for a short story, this did a pretty good job at a psychological horror piece and not a romanticization of a horrible situation like what we see on here most of the time

That's why GENRE exists, bodies of literature excels in their own terms, and don't tell me this isn't a well written shit cause if you think otherwise you are something
