THANK YOU, people were so excited for the art change I thought I was the only one. I loved the art before, it definitely had a style of its own god I miss it so much

I miss the old art too. It just hits home differently for me. Like a vibe that matched the tone of the series. My heart is having a hard time adjusting. ╥﹏╥

it feels like the new art is sharper/darker in a way? if that makes any sense? One thing I miss about the old artstyle is the way they colored lineart to make it look softer/blend together. The new art style is very detailed but all of the lines are plain black (plus harsh shadows are also just black) so it lost a lot of that softness and pops of color that I liked from the original artstyle. Plus the old artstyle was just very round in general in a nice way

ex: how the hair and clothes are drawn :0 and the eyes especially- these windows feel so different orz very detailed, I do admit!! But it’s hard to associate the characters with the new artstyle when the vibes are so different
