how authors feel when they add "politics/internal conflict" to a story with a promising start:
nice art but the conflict/problem is boring and irritating. I just wish their problem was just being too powerful and trying to conceal it while living a happy and chaotically fun life.
Then it will just be the stereotypical type. I mean that that's not bad but maybe the author wanted a different approach

the romantic scene in chapter 5 was so cute. but if people irl did that very embarrassing pda in front of me I would hurl and throw hands at them/hj
I really hate it when people in power(strong people) don't just kill the antagonists. it'll literally be so much easier
Politics mean that if you don’t have proper reasoning beforehand you can get marked as a dictator and then nobles can stage a coup. They’re only in power because people let them if they turn on them then they die.
