The 3rd years together with the 2nd years couldn't even put up a fight against dateko. Yes they have grown they trained, BUT this is their first nationals(full of talented players and strong teams) and they had 2 games with 3 sets each ... their main point getter had to step out and the luxury the others had with the strongest decoy on court is gone as well ... with their level of exhaustion and inexperience and good players to sub in (no hate at yama, but he's pretty weak in blocking/spicking and receiving) it would take an iron will and body to win against kamomedai ... the judge hasn't declared the match over yet so it can be that there is a net-touch or something so i don't know what to expect .... i read kuroko no basket and was so surprised by them winning the whole thing just like that (it was pretty miraculous) so i'm glad that haikyuu stays realistic ... besides if they lose, that means we get to read more haikyuu ^^

Honestly i'm fine with side storys, but for this one the friend with glasses and the music-lover boy- story would have been enough ... 3 couples, that aren't together yet, to have all their storys told at once is confusing and taxing ... it might seem heartless from my side, but i'm not really interested in that uncles story

I also wouldn't neet the story of the uncle, it is kinda boring. I am really interested in the other two stories, but it seems like the author forgot about them.

I think most readers think that way. As for me, I usually don't read stories with characters like the uncle as the main characters, because I am not into the uncle + beard type. Due to this, even though I loved the story a lot in the beginning, I get bored of it right now and only skip the chapters until it'll be interesting again.
I actually don't mind older characters, but this one is no interesting ... it didn't grab my attention

Honestly i do have to agree with some people here ... the mangaka DID give so many mika x yuu moments in the beginning to lure people to read it (you can't deny it) ... even if you don't ship them you still read it for their brotherly bond ... but now everything is complicated ...
1.Shinoa changed somehow and i would be lying if i said i liked her (i don't like her since the beginning ... i like the blond one more), but if i look at her now, i'm disliking her even more ... not because of shipping or any of that ... but just that instead of developing her charecter the mangaka turned her to THIS ...
2. I'm tired of this guren shit ... that sister needs to just vanish disappear ... i just want her to be gone ... and i don't know if it's because of mahiru, but reviving people was never a good idea guren ... you caused this mess and now you want to do it again ... smh
3.mika had such importance in the beginning ... he also appeared more and seemed stronger ... now that he turned to a full vampire he should be stronger, but he somehow isn't? ... he accepted yuus new friends like it was nothing (i expected more resistance) and appears in just a few pannels ... that hurts me, since he is my favourite character ... his personality changed so drastically (i don't mean the vampire part with loosing emotions and such), but i can't recognize him anymore? (I don't know either)
4. There are so many things i don't understand right now and the mangaka doesn't even try to explain ... i don't know if it will come afterwards, but everything is just being thrown in front of the readers with no explanation
5. Yuu is just an idiot without a shred of character development ... there are a lot of stupid shonen mc's, but even they get a little smarter and start to use their brain ... it's such a waste of a main character and a manga
6. This had so much potential *sigh* ... i'm just reading it for mika, ferid and crowley ... the only characters, who add spice to this bland story
My words may seem harsh, but it's my opinion and my way of thinking ... don't hate on me for not liking shinoa ...

I really want to read this ... but i always have a problem with stories like this one ... i always feel so sad about the ones who die ... i just can't feel happy for the new couple afterwards ... my heart isn't able to take it .... i want to read it tho ...
I understand you, I read this after reading ´´Jazz for two´´ where a character killed himself too even though everybody is happy at the end I still feel sad for the one that died
