Technically this is NOT a BL. Shounen ai is BL, but this is only tagged as yaoi, the two terms are not synonymous but usually found together so they get conflated. Also, getting together doesn't necessarily mean the author condones it (although I do wonder what the author was trying to do with this story cuz there is so much graphic rape). If they do "get together" in this case, it's more to show the extent of the psychological manipulation and torture inflicted on uke and the twisted mindset of seme. Do you have any sort of link to a tweet or something from the og author saying that this is meant to be a romance? That is the only thing that would inexplicably prove ur argument.
