Yeah, so I don't know in how much detail he explained the previous timeline, but I thought it implied that this included explaining his rejection. After all he did explain how much it triggered him to hear "I love you"... so no idea what explaining he'd have left to do...
He explained it multiple times more in depth as the chapters went on. as of the recent chapter it's been mentioned so many times with more detail that not only does the ml keep it heavily in mind but so does the friend. Also he explained everything all the way backnto the beach trip where they met the fortune teller. So it's been discussed enough and the effects have continuously been addressed to the point the mc now has been diagnosed with ptsd and anxiety.

Every time I reread, I love the characters all over again—everyone except Reiji’s demonic father, who leveraged Kiichi at every turn. Vol 6 Ch 2.1- 2.2 Was soooo good. In the later chapters, the seme returned to B&B because the uke had passed on which was depressing.
This story is always a great read because every new pairing ties into the same works the main characters live in and every character shows growth.
