OK my opinion of the old man improved big time these last 2 chapters, he is so cute. I am betting that he was in a coma all this time, or prison but either would be heartbreaking
Since he said fatally ill it’s possibly coma or some sickness that could have led to his death, maybe that’s why Haebom’s mom left? I don’t know I am just assuming
There is one more chapters of this side story left, the second couple will have their own side story but sometime this winter according to manga updates, don't know the date yet.

It ended, but this one is a whole 7 years, well maybe more cuz it might have been translated 7 years but written more than that. Well the last one I know of was Wolf In The House, and that was one of the best side stories ever, we will see about this one

So its not bad only because they have 2 chapters left, but they talk next chapter. Dojun tries to convince him to leave because he doesn't want to hold Tae back. Finally once and for all Tae says nothing of the sort is happening, he is happy where he is and doing what he has been doing. About directing a movie, he doesn't think he could do it in the present, je would rather wait until he felt more confident in doing it rather than going now and doing it half assed. So maybe one day if he decides that he wants to try he will, but he will never go anywhere else permanently and he is staying right where he is happy now, and Dojun accepts this.

i don’t understand why dojun doesn’t think of moving to the US though. i can’t remember bc it’s been a while since i read the main story so correct me if i’m wrong, but at this point there’s nothing tying him down to korea. while taeseok may not feel confident in directing a movie now, he still built himself a successful career in the US. even if he can find work in korea, it would never be the same magnitude as the legacy he built for himself in the states. it really would be the best move for the two of them to move to the US together. these side stories are just so frustrating, like i wanted fluff, idk what was the purpose of them going back and forth for 7 chapters on moving or not
Yes there is nothing holding him back in Korea, and why he doesn't go with Tae who knows? That would be the most sensible thing, maybe he can't speak English or some shit. But Tae has also done well in Korea, he would not be as successful in the states as he is now if he hadn't gone to Korea and met Dojun, and also got to spend time with his mother. I do hate how everyone disregards what Taeclearly has said he wants which is to stay with Dojun and write books. Let's not forget how out of nowhere Dojun was like "oh you're dad probably wants you to get married, so we shouldn't live together" like wtf!? Tae has been a grown ass man who doesn't need to do what his father telks him to for a long time now
