my theory is that slowly, one by one, the other 'npcs' stop resetting/coming back to the prologue and no one but bada and doha remember them (and hyungshin for only the first time it happens) and that's how the story kinda gets pushed in its urgency.

in the movie re/member, it kinda follows a similar plot line where this group of teenagers get stuck in a time loop "game" (but they're still existing in their real lives) and when they go to sleep, they wake up in the "game" and for the first however many loops, it's fine: they find the pieces, get killed off one by one, find the monster's weaknesses, it's all good. They wake up to their day having repeated. But slowly, the monster evolves and they notice that once someone is eaten rather than killed any other way, they don't come back to the beginning of the looped day and not a single normal person (someone not involved in the loop) remembers them, almost as if they had never existed. So that forces the kids to complete the "game" faster because slowly one by one they all start getting eaten and stop existing.

anyways that's kinda how I'm expecting this to go.
if i don't think about the potential bad things to come they don't exist and we can live in this fluff forever
