yeah but we arent talking about that. gay as a meaning of sexuality has been used for both men and women. eventhough its mostly used for men now, it is STILL an umbrella term used non-gender specific. i use 'gay' more than lesbian because its shorter and less gender specific so it feels more comfortable.

How is it confusing? Females can be homosexuals too. O-o

Yeap... and they have three ways to be called: Homosexual (general term), gay and lesbians... it is only many people think that homosexual or gay is the term for men and lesbians for women... but women is included in these three terms...

And also... it doesn't exist a (not insulting) term only for men (like lesbians are only for women), that is why it is confusing for people... I know why the term lesbians exist, but I don't know why there is no a term only for men!!!

Yeah, I did ... But what I didn’t saw that there are more chapters now (I haven’t read yet.). That happens if you go straight from your bookmarks into the comments. My mistake. My comment applied to (until) chapter 13 – the punishment. So, for the last chapters my reply is pretty useless now. Just ignore it. ;-)

Ah, I really was to quick. OK, I’m fully updated now. Chapter 15 is plain rape. Period. Until chapter 13 I thought that it will bloom into a nice consensual BDSM relationship. Even if it’s disturbing to others that someone will be pleasured by stuff (humiliation, pain etc.) like that. There were way to many comments that didn’t understand Shells desire and saw him just as a victim right from the start. But nothing new in this department. Sadly.Even heard such stuff during a performance of “Secretary”. What is even sadder is the fact that BDSM is once again used as plot tool in a negativ way. It fits the plot yeah but there’s also the risk that some people start to think that is normal for the SM part.

For the plot here I think the problem with the BDSM stuff is that first there are the circumstances. The world they live in. Plus until chapter 13 I saw it more kinda like dubcon. But not from Shells POV more from Ones. Shell is a masochist who desires such things but One was kinda like blackmailed and thrown into his position of power. And obviously he has difficulties to handle this given might. Especially over someone from the hated species. Instable doms are a ticking timebomb. Obviously. And on top of that like I said there are their circumstances. No good springboard for such relationships who are based on strong trust and empathie. If they are going to continue this thing they really really need to arrange the terms of their sessions and a safe word.

Hm, well I think there are some with the master and pet term that do actually work out. A friend of mine enjoys himself from time to time in such dates. I think respect for the individual is the keyword. Also fair play. It’s a deal. Giving and receiving. And of course both parts need to be mentally stable. I’m not into this. I, for myself think it isn’t necessary to have a love relationship to play but at least a friendship. Something like friends with benefits. I couldn’t relax and let go with an acquaintance or beware with a total stranger. But maybe exactly that is the kink of some people. But you’re right with the two here. Like I said in the comment before I think they had a very bad start and it doesn’t look like it will go any better. But it will I guess … I think the main problem is that One isn’t like that, he isn’t into this at all. Not in the sexual way. At least not yet. The only thing I see (You obviously too.) at the moment is that he’s venting out his frustration and anger on Shell. A very unhealthy thing for BDSM because from this point BDSM is nothing like an excuse to hurt people. So, like you said they care for each other in some way, so maybe maybe there’s a chance that something can bloom. That they can deal with this and even comfort each other cause both of them have to struggle in their own way in this enviroment. I must say that I have my little problems with Shell. I don’t see that guy as the ultimative victim as most people here do. In a way I can understand Ones animosity towards him. Why? Because Shell is part of this disgusting system. He doesn’t hurt people himself but also he does nothing but just watching – aside from small things. To choose a “harmless” example: It’s like when someones bullied in class and you have a bad feeling about this, but you do nothing. Just watch and sometimes comfort the victim. I really really have my issues with such things. So, I’m not really warming up with Shell. Even if he is also a victim in another way. And One, like I said I can understand him, from where his frustration and anger is coming from but the way he’s dealing with this? No, just no. But I have a fear that Shell is going to even enjoy this. I have a gutfeeling that he’s the type of a hardcore masochist. Well, I don’t judge such people but I find it pretty unhealthy. Like victims of the stockholm syndrom. Plus I think in this story it might be a way to compensate, to deal with his guilt, the guilt of the species he is, what they do to humans, what his father is doing and what he is just watching for years without intervening. Or something we don’t know about yet. So, it’s a punishment for him – literally. So, he’s a self-loathing being who is on a self-destruction trip. And from this point can I really judge him for his ignorance? Sometimes people are to weak or afraid to do something and he knows this, so he wants to be punished to feel a little better. To amend, to make a little up to the things happening around him. In his pov, of course these actions do nothing to help the people his father and their species is subjugating. Hm, just a train of thoughts … Maybe the two find a way to deal with themseIves and their upfucked situation. Maybe they can both heal this way. Well, we will see in what direction this is heading. I just saw the lot of new uploads... In contradiction to my personal opinion I’m a sucker for such storys: dark, twisted, psychologic. For the plot and tension all of this is pretty working out. Dark, twisted. So, I’m going to indulge myself in this crazy shit and enjoy the ride! ;-)

And on the side notes: Yeah, that is exactly what I was thinking! Thanks for putting it into words. Subs and masochists who are mentally stable are no victims like many people think. They are not weak and in no way naive and/or self-conscious people So they wonder (when they see the subs in their daily life) that they are actually pretty normal people or even strong guys. It is also pretty annoying that people don’t get that in these relationships the partners are fully equal.
