Surely something must be wrong if I think that about a manhwa that's so centered around smut. It felt like they were just going through the motions and I too was just scrolling down going through the motions. I felt constipated reading. I'm not satisfied with the ending, but I think it was a good choice to end it when it did. I didn't want to read any longer.
Also mc was at fault for losing the puppy. If he felt protective enough of his baby to run away when he heard that from the secretary, why would he throw himself on the line? Felt like they just threw in an overused cliche to show that the leads care for each other but I'm not convinced. I have no attachment or empathy for any of the characters other than the pup. That was unnecessary. I might have cried. Idk. Bye.
At chapter 73 too I mean I really like the main characters and their dynamic. the tension between them is just so very real to me and I feel like they're the only reason I've read up until now. But I don't really care about the rest like the car center people, ross' job, the turf wars, the drugs, which like makes up half of the story
I'm trynna backtrack and go read the raws bc my understanding of how ST got interested in WJ in the first place was he thought WJ was similar (in terms of personality) with the guy that Jaehyun liked. So when he told jh that "he didn't know", he really didn't know that it was the wj that he knew of was the same guy that jh was into...
I read the first two chapters here, gave up, went to the raws and finished it in less than a day. Coming back here to leave a comment, I'm glad I read the raws instead.
There's something simplistic about this story in that it doesn't really excite you or have you gripping the edge of your seat, but I liked that about it. It was well-paced, the characters are likeable (even Seonnam) and relatable, and the plot plotted. It was a good read, I found that it left me with good feelings after finishing, but idk if I would read again. It's not a story that you wont see anywhere else but it was well-writte
Kinda sucks for me that it's ongoing bc I have the memory of a goldfish but this concept is so new to me so I'll probably remember it

수평낙하 which is literally Falling into the Horizon. Is this foreshadowing for a hyung ending...? But I feel like it depends on how the author defines 'horizon'. If gravity for us normal folks is on the y-axis, and gravity for mc is on the x-axis, then we could take this to mean that he's on a different fragment of reality. But we've seen how tree charms the people around him...we know it's illusory. Which can only mean that going for the tree no matter how good of a fuck he is, will only take mc farther away from 0, where 'reality' is.
With how s1 ended, it looks like mc will break up with sunbae...so I'm expecting a chaser arc for sunbae in s2. And with distance between sunbae and mc, means that mc and hyung will be closer as they're inverse. It looks like sunbae actually genuinely cares for mc's well-being though, so I suppose he'll be some sort of catalyst to mc's 'awakening'. If tree is delusion then sunbae must be reality. I don't make the rules

I tried to read this manhwa for like 5 times before I got past chapter 10 (?). So much shit happened to Do Junghoon for absolutely no reason other than Hyunjae is a psycho/sociopath. I get it, he was made like that by his own father, so if there's truly anyone to blame, it should be him, but that doesn't mean Hyunjae gets off easy. The author really collaborated with their darkest demons for this one lol. This is not a manhwa you will survive if you closely empathize with any of the characters.
Choking up holding back tears right now
The first season felt very rushed to me, the relationship between the main couple felt mostly physical. It didn't feel like there was a connection there. I was surprised when they already got back together by chapter 9. I skipped most of the smut scenes from the first half of this bl. I wonder what the author was thinking, revealing vital information about the mc when it's nearing the end. It made it very difficult to relate to the mc (and even the ml) relatively.
In comparison, the second couple had more chemistry, more depth right from the very beginning. Their story was also more dramatic and more eventful. Even with the pacing. It's just...more fleshed out, more interesting over all...
Which is interesting when you look at it. Both of the couples are parallels of the other. I think that can be both the strength and weakness of this bl. It's a strength bc it was novel how those characters were intertwined with each other, but it's a weakness because they're so parallel that you can't help but compare them and then come to the conclusion that the first couple just pales next to the 2nd.

But he's self-aware, which means he can correct himself when he finds that he's going back to his old tendencies. Meanwhile sangwoo's being led by his emotions, after being "rational" his whole life, which must be induce anxiety, not having control for the first time ever. So much character growth for these two
