Horror in the sense that the work is realistic by capturing the eerie and horrific feeling, especially when it is not romanticized. And harming and trying to kill yourself in front of others to manipulate, especially your lover so you can guilt trip them and stalk them is horrific
I understand what you're saying but it's more of a angst or thriller rather than horror.. horror is mostly used for paranormal, ghost related stuff that's why it sounds weird when someone's says horror
