The MC and the fake holy maiden are actually from the same real world, both of them died turn by turn and somhow went inside the novel.
Even in the same real world both of them hated each other mainly because of the fake holy maiden called Si ah/Seah(I'm using the translation name)
The story keeps circling endlessly untill chapter 50+
Same as how the MC hates the ML but loves him at the same time, but can't or even wanna be with him.
Then suddenly out of nowhere they reconciled, but then hatred happens and then again they start being lovey dovey.
The ML is very possessive yes, but not to the extend of being an actual RED flag because considering the reasons behind his actions of locking the MC stands valid because many are after the MC (i.e., the Crown prince and the fake holy maiden)
The main thing is that the MC is the actual Holy maiden as she possess the key to the abyss gate but the fact that jealousy and hatred which took over her made her lose her purity because of the fake holy maiden, who controlled the ML using potions in both the 3 timeline.

The end of the fake holy maiden tbh is quite blant and simple. I mean yah, too much dramatic end ain't good but like it ended like this:
MC: You were the reason for this,it was ur fault....blah blah.......I'm sorry'
The fake maiden: I'm sorry too now go back to your world.
(This how it ended between the fake and the MC)
I was quite dumbfounded at the end because it wasn't how I expected to end. But actually the plot wasn't that interesting as it kept repeating the same thing of MC hating and loving the ML while ML loves the MC but forces MC to stay with him.
It also kinda reminded me of the lyrics : choke me like you hate me but you love me, low key wanna date me-

Stop comparing stories. This one has potential (i honestly think they adorable the more the story unfolds) jus see the mc as a fuckin joke (cuz he is, a prideful & dumb one at dat which makes him quite adorable somehow) and it makes the story so much funnier and cuter later on
