Not just that, the way Datta Talks and Acts is just so childish and such. If he's Supposed to be around 20, you would expect him to act differently, even if he lived completely alone from other humans. I still don't understand why he is being used for Research, its not like he belongs to a foreign Species. I would assume that they wanted to know how humans turn out without any human contact, but I doubt it. For the purpose of this manga, Datta exists only as a fetish, because no human Acts like this.
Fr it's so annoying that people still thinks like that given that tribes and people leaving in the wild continue to exist nowadays. It's not because they don't live in apartments and don't have the next iPhone that they are dumb, childish, and act based on their primal instincts. (Dunno if that makes sense since I'm not a native speaker)

The first season was meh. But it's because it was supposed to be a short story (and they did say they made the first season during a bad time). When the author got their work serialised it was smoother, had sense, and even the art style was better. I loved Cheolho backstory, and I loved his overall character. So yeah easily a 5/5. The story is toxic but not like those new yaois where they use excuses to insert a (or multiple) rape scene. I'm happy the art style is pretty because a story this complex and well-written deserved it. (I'm basing myself on the second season)
