Honestly I didn't hate her in the novel either lol I think her actions were justified when u think of her age and the situation she was in. I didn't like her either though. But I'm glad manhwa took a different approach since we don't get to see strong female bonds in these kind of stories often

Why couldn't they just follow the novel? I wish they followed what the novel said and the conflict would be done a long time ago. Solo leveling is fun to read cause it follows EXACTLY what the novel states even the dialogue.
TBH I Like the plot of the Manga better.. I think it's darker, realistic and more interesting.. Because I have read the novel and it was kinda boring.. But I don't like how they are dragging it though .

I definitely agree with you. I was ready to hate Jeanette in the manhua but Spoon didn't let that happen. Jeanette was trash in the novel but she isn't in the manhua which is why it is dragging on for me. I like to hate characters when they don't have redemption arcs but obviously, Jeanette is gonna get a happy ending so I am conflicted on what I want to happen to her.

I just thought she didn't do anything extreme to be evil Like her real father or her mother .. she just lived an illusion her whole life and she found out the truth she couldn't except it .. and athanasia loved her and she loved athanasia too .. To be honest with I really can't stand her at all neither in the novel nor the manhua so I can where you're coming from .

I honestly think that Jihyun is trash and a lot of people defending him are trashy too. The only good thing he has done is leave Chiwoo alone because if u read the story he was aware of Chiwoo's cries of help when raping him so I don't understand why people can like him in the original story. What he did was not forgivable even if he looks good and I'm happy the author did not show any redemption for him. He should have to live his life with the quilt of doing such an unforgivable act to his best friend. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.
