i like the development on both of them. both are trying in their own way and im here for it
i read some comments and they are so right. because the duke is becoming better noe doesnt mean he is in any shape a good person. i went back to the first few chapters and he was so ready to bury her and not even inform her family. they are terrible people even if they have a sad backstory. although i like their dynamics, they are the true villain's and im sure celphi's mom felt that.
tbh idk what to feel about celphi's mom cause she didnt try anything but gave her experince of what happened which she is valid for
I’m so glad you have this viewpoint because I felt weird reading this chapter but now I see why, it’s because you know they are bad people but you wanna give the benefit of the doubt bc you follow them throughout the story and see how they r acting towards Pereshati. I nearly forgot how the duke was abt to throw her life away, they have sad background stories but that doesn’t justify their actions towards others.

why does the duke keep hiding things from Pershati and celphi? hes always like "nothing will change if he knows" when celphi has told them mutliple times that he feels like an outsider when they dont tell him things directly. he may be a child but he has the right to know certain things.
