my gripe with this webtoon is the chemistry between the leads. the fact that the demon cult leader constellation shows up and within 5 chapters have MORE CHEMISTRY with the protagonist than >60 chapters with seydin is insane. that means that the author actually KNOWS how to build chemistry

i’m not sure if it’s the author writing or it’s my personal preference but the fact that so many people complain about the same thing means i’m not that delusional i guess xD

nevertheless it’s this > i just feel like between the cult leader constellation and renee there’s this equal kind of relationship & positive symbiotic relationship, but with seydin it’s so one sidedly him going all puppy on her. like she never really needs him so idk why he’s exactly there and i think i subconsciously i just hate how such a cool and mysterious character lore aka king of mercenary is delegated to supporting role who acts 24/7 like a puppy. i want to see more of a power couple

maybe this is what men think when they read naruto or other shounen and feel frustrated when they see their favorite character gets paired up w someone substantially weaker and less cooler and is only there for the #moral support

i keep begging the gods for solo levelling but gay and we got this one right hereeee. i honestly love the protagonist character so much. i love a thinker type of protagonist and he is It. and in any type of media (straight bl gl) i never like the damsel in distress trope so i fucking love how OP yuder is. but even with all the op-ness its not aura farming nonsense like solo levelling is LOL because in other ways he is oppressed - by both being a commoner AND an omega. and in the first life i think he bulldozes through everything on his own? which is valid but i love how in the second life he starts thinking about establishing allies. despite how cold he is as a person he means well.

i think if there’s no omegaverse here i really cant see yuder acting on his interest on kishiar (which unreliable narrator as he is we all know he is interested in kishiar) much less sleep with him LOL so i guess this is where omegaverse escalates the romance. but the worldbuilding and the characters are written such that its a real shounen plot and i realllyyy appreciate that as a huge lover of shounen genre
