this is such a refreshing take on the isekai genre & im excited at the psychological horror. it’s obviously a romance so i wonder how the ml and fl would end up with each other in the end with a history of murder lmao

not only that the brothers are feast fore sore eyes they also add the comedy in this romcom shebang + actually advances the plot

something about both of their personality is just chefs kiss. like eunsan being unintentional tease because he’s so freaking stubborn and kind of effortlessly cool because he’s just nonchalant like that and something about ian being a yearning loser in hot guy body with surprising moments of suaveness (“you’re curious about my tattoo? you’ll see it when we have sex anyways”)

and ian with hair down make my heart go dokidoki in conclusion we should all hook up w athletes at least once

i usually dont leave bad reviews but this story should just be labelled porn (or rather rape) without plot. i was intrigued with mc in chapter 1 because he’s a really good shooter … and he’s someone who’s strong but actually has a tender heart. i really like action so when a friend recommends this i was excited about something set in apocalypse setting (tbh i dont find rainbow city that interesting?). but then everything else that happens after chapter 1 is just nonstop torture porn. as someone who ALSO actually works out mc’s body is 1000% unachievable during apocalypse … girl u need shitton of protein to maintain muscle mass not that we need to necessarily talk about realism in pornhwa. wishing the best of luck to mc & cursing the irl friend who introduced me this

and my man dohwa seriously deserves so much better, i know there are SOME webtoons where the second male lead actually ends up with the protagonist - like its not impossible to happen (hate mate at the top of my head). but stll idk he doesnt get enoogh screntime to build thaaaat proper relationship to sooae, i hope he finds someone that will just see him as who he is not the commodity & pretty face that is Top Celebrity and Idol Baek Dohwa (thats me - come and date me baek dohwa). someone like sooae for sure but who will properly return his feelings

and just SOOAE my girl deserves a lot of great things. her character development has been PHENOMENAL i actually like the change of tone in the second season. she’s straightforward, cute, kind of effortlessly sexy, and still kind to boot. i like her a loooooooot and i want the best for her & i want her to move on after 10 years. im happy that she found out the truth behind marang - that she’s deserving of love and fuckin eunhyuk leaving has nothing with her not deserving of love. i hope that he can just TELL HER why he left and she can have proper closure and move on and date CUTE GUYS bc thats what my girl deserves!!!

i stopped reading a little after their first kiss because i felt that the conflict kind of gets dragged on and i didnt like narumi and i guess that was the right choice … i dont know if i would have liked this manga as much if it wasn’t because the voice actor of kou’s on the anime his voice just made me freakin melt

the first time i came across lovecraftian horror is through orv and having one as potential love interest is just a diabolical set up. i know, i know yohan is black flag at its purest form even as he treats mc well. but he’s so COMPELLING and we really can’t judge his morals by human standards - he’s un unimaginably old and powerful (evil? apathetic?) god. he does NOT care about humans. but there’s this one human that might see him as who he is and that INTRIGUES him but he doesnt know the first thing about affection. and i think something about that is so .. powerful in a way (am i a monster romance convert? whi knows) it’s no excuse of his behavior of course, but the whole horror thing blanketing this webtoon is so fascinating to me. romance and horror works so well !!! and the sex is frankly fire ngl (yes im a freak unfortunately - one’s man’s trash is another man’s diamond etc etc). so far i also like the kick in the protagonist’s character and im compelled to get to know more of her especially about their past history and how would she response about the big reveal! the writing and creativity of this author is a+++
