I really like the meeting between Sachio and the ex-friend who belittled him for being an omega. If I had a nickel for each time Sachio had an alpha friend who rejected him for his omega status, grew apart, realized their mistake and then supported Sachio's mangaka career, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's lovely that it's happened twice.

Like, he has a little area in a book shop dedicated to promoting Sachio's manga. Sachio who used his real name because he wanted to show his ex-friends that he, an omega, COULD become a mangaka. He proved them wrong, and they in turn, supported him and his dream :( Aaghh I love this manga so much.

An omegaverse story that has an interesting plot and cares about consent? I'm tearing up.

From what I've read, yes. Though truthfully, I tend to skim the sex parts because they bore me . At the beginning, the ML definitely tries to behave like a typical shit alpha and even threatened to rape the omega, but he never does it. One sniffle and "no" from the MC and he folds faster than a lawn chair. He tried to play the big, bad alpha role to get revenge on the omega, but can't actually bring himself to hurt the MC.

Hopefully our girl is chill. I can already picture the comments vomiting misogynist spiel against her for... liking a guy. It gets pretty tiring.

Its not misogynistic but her character does end up being annoying in a way.. bc she tends to cross subtle boundaries now and then with MC.. considering their relationship of professional mentor-mentee it irks me.. especially since MC is obliviously still trying to put her and ML together.. He thinks they'll end up together so he keeps pushing them together but like the other person said, she ends up being interested into MC.. Evetually MC stops pushing ML and her together and accepts that they might not end up together in this lifetime, thus he keeps being ML's guide while they are kind of publicly dating at one point.. and she keeps interfering here and there.. its also tears the mentee group that MC is mentoring apart and ends up with a public show of them fighting at a professional event.. anyways all this happens while MC and ML are minding their own business so it feels like side characters making a lot of noise and creatig unnecessary drama.. I wonder how much they'll cut it bc that just might decrease her screen-time in the plot.. you could also say author doesn't use her character for much and she is often just there as a plot device that serves as the object of MC's envy bc in his eyes ML truly loved her while also serving as an object of his pity bc he feels he took away ML and her chance at having a better career so he tries to help her get ahead in career..
I came back to re-read this and I can't believe it has an 8.8 rating. Mfs where??? Toxic, long ass stories with no plot have better ratings... What a joke.
It's one of the first mangas I've read and loved. That rating is an injustice against me, against my person, against my very being. Wtf ?!
