i like twisted stuff but the way the story is executed in this manga is hard for me to get into. the mood setting is all over the place. one panel, it's drama, next is dark, then the other suddenly turns chibi and comical and then it's back to dark. You can be funny and twisted at the same time but in this story, they're two very separate things forcibly tied together not molded in one cohesive form.

it could have been better if delivered with more depth and probably paced much slower. It had the potential to break hearts and make people cry but things appeared to be taken lightly. their facial expressions were kind of stiff too. it would be nice too if they were given a time apart for a while even so we can see if they'll still find themselves back to each other later on. but the creators chose to end it this way. their psychological adaption may have been quite fast too.

I was worried about the first couple not ending up together, because it ended with an impression that he's finally doing well with a girl and he and the friend were better off as friends. However in the second, the smaller of the two was beaming with happiness so i guess the intuition was right and they really got together. I'd be happy for them if they thought they're happier together as friends but since I'm reading BL, I'm expecting the two characters to end up together. I guess i can say their ending was cleverly portrayed.

it's okay, the characters and art are cute but it jumped ship too early. Very little interaction was shown between them to the point that I'd buy chi's surprise kiss as a drunkard's habit but: it's just the first chapter and the author might've done it on purpose so as to create more mystery to such a simple story to its readers. It's possible chi has known him much longer, etc., we'll have to find it put in the future chapters. Sadly, the character development wasn't executed well in the first chapter.
It's not bad at least, and it didn't wrap up with the infamous after-confession sex so I'll stick around for more.

You’re definitely right. The Seme’s best friend/coworker even makes a point of mentioning the seme will fall in love with anyone who tells him “I love you”. It’s obviously fiction but within the context I’m sure he’s an easily swayed person who doesn’t really know what love is so sure maybe the two mc will have a proper mutual love but it seems more like an infatuation/ love unequal dynamic at the moment. The uke definitely has. right to his insecurities. Actually that’s more or less most yaoi that fall within the rushed love trope. At least there’s no unnecessary unrealistic wam bam thank you mam after less than a chapter. Or the enraged seme who rapes the uke to prove is apparent “love”.
are we going to have a story about the high school boy? I have so many questions about him lol
