you guys know that trauma is dealt with by people differently, right? Some suppress their emotions and choose to battle or submit to their demons within themselves while others actively look for outlets. I think seme is the latter. Some do it because seeing others more pitiful than they are relieve them somehow.
People who are severely traumatized are less capable of making rational decisions so the concept of "you have been abused before also, then you know how shitty that is, so it makes no sense you commit the same to another." is beyond the seme's state of mind now.

Recently, almost all of the manga I read happen to have rape, netorare and stalkers. All of which shallowly presented therefore leaving me annoyed by the naivety of the creator. Then I came across this manga about a stalker with himself as the narrator. Although stalking is a crime itself, it's relieving to know he's still concerned about what Arata would feel. He has more awareness of himself than the other tragic stories I've read recently. This guy has hope.
I have a feeling where this may go in the future and I hope that will happen. haha.

most stalkers are very selfish. They don't think much about the other party. Just what they want. They make up delusions that fit their want not the reality. Stalker-kun here is very much a stalker but he hasn't lost touch with reality and realizes what is real and what is not. But having his fantasy and the object of his obsession clash made him snap. Question is - will he rape or will he stop himself.

The blackmail in this story is actually not much different from those in the angsty stories. It just so happened that the guy needed that much forcefulness in order to break his shell. Still, it is not a very healthy way to get to know someone no matter how much you claim your intentions to be pure. It worked for them positively (so far?) but I guarantee it will not work as well with anybody else. Please do not use this method in real life and always try your best to be respectful of yourself and others.
