It’s a Chinese trope. A green tea or white lotus bitch are characters that look innocent and delicate but in reality scheme and plot behind the scenes. They make others do their dirty work so they can keep up this idealized image.

I dunno how I could be bored reading this, but I was. I can’t tell the dynamics between MC and literally anyone else, except her stepmother. The light novel of this probably a lot better because it’s obvious there’s a lot going unexplained.
Most importantly where is the face slapping! (Not counting mc getting slapped 1st ch. that’s not the slapping we are here for)
Giving it a C- just for good art and translation quality.
Story too focused on portraying the all inspiring awesomeness of mc to give completely satisfactory face slapping. I’ll give it a solid grade A tho. Cos it’s one of the better ones even being unfinished.
