PHONE:so if you click on the chapter , there is going to be a bar right above the chapter number and all the way down to the right of your screen there are 3 bars. If you click on it there are 6 options that you can chose from, if you go to the 5th option where it says show gap and click on it the page "bars" will be gone. LAPTOP: you would click on the chapter an at the very top right next to where it shows the chapter number there is a option that says multi page and then next to it says show gap and if you click on it the bars will be gone

i dont know because i was thinking that he was the childhood friend but when he said she seems familiar he had a vision/flashback of a grown MC so I'm a bit skeptical

Well, there's also the possibility that he met the real Karina before her death, a random encounter. Not enough to truly remember her by herself but enough that she looks met-before, just one of the many people he crosses path every day.
